Jayne Worth - Birmingham Track Day at Mallory Park Sat 6th Feb2010 Thank you guys for making our first ever track day a fantastic day to remember for all the right reasons! Arriving on our own bikes in rather foggy conditions to say the least! and having never done anything like this before we were a bit nervous - well i was anyway! But throughout the day everything was done to make us feel at ease and comfortable. Many thanks to Lee who gave us on track guidance and advice throughout the day which was excellent and really useful and i noticed a difference in my riding on the way home! Ian Glenn Offroad Adventure I have just come back from Spain and had to write in. What a great couple of days! The bikes are superb, i have got to get one of these. The routes you use were great. I particularly enjoyed the challenging climbs. No one else around at all which was a nice surprise. The hills were all ours and what great views. Thanks again for looking after us. Great fun.

martin buttress - cambridge 121 instruction Hi If anyone is browsing track day sites and still not sure about doing one, take my advice and book with Focused Events. I did my first track day at Mallory 9th July 09. I was nervous about doing it, but there was no need to be. The first thing I was told was to go at your own pace which I did. I had one to one tuition with Gene Adams (nice bloke) who quickly put my mind at rest and lead me round at a pace that I was happy to ride at. He gave me constructive advice for each session which improved my riding position and speed. I have now had 4 track days, all with Simon and this team at Focused Events, and now booked on for a 5th. It had to be one of if not the most organised/fun trackday I have been on. From arrival and booking in (also changing my group as I booked in the wrong one for my bike) to leaving it was thoroughly enjoyable and never once had to wonder what was happening or rush about as my group were going out. The instructors were 2nd to none and whilst doing their own laps would slow down so I could follow their lines without asking and improved my riding throughout the day. Paul Scott Portimao. Parc Algar Hi Kevin, I've just returned from Portugal and thought I'd drop you a quick line. I was one of the two total novices (i.e. never done a sinlge track day and have only been riding for 1 year). As you said 3 days at Park Algar is certainly in at the deep end! The trip was a huge success for me. Having an instructor (Gene) allocated to look after us newbies immediately took away some of the nerves. Getting tips on tyre pressures and then lots of riding and track line advice, really set me up for the weekend. I had the best time of my life and have developed so much as a rider. Getting to the edge of the tyres was an acomplishment for me. The fact that I did this was on a soaking wet track on my standard road tyres was quite a surprise! After getting my toes on the floor and my foot pegs, I then got some great tips from another instructor (Rick - wasn't he meant to be there on holiday!!) and I managed to (very briefly) get my knee down in the last session on the last day in the glorious sunshine. Your organisation of the event was spot on. The briefings seemed to work as people seemed to really repsect my space on track and I was never put at risk. Everything worked how exactly as I'd hoped it would. Please pass my thanks on to all involved. I can't imagine the efforts they've put in to get all the gear so organised and keep us all fuelled up. Yvonne Rospek novice track rider Hi Phil, I emailed a few weeks ago, as advised by Kevin, as I was attending a track day all on my lonesome and Kevin said someone would look after me........well, I had the track day yesterday and I can't thank everyone enough for a fantastic day. Not only was I greeted with a friendly 'hello you must be Yvonne' from Barry, but throughout the day he kept asking how I was getting on, was I ok etc. Both the instructors (Peter and Alan?!) I had for the day were great, I did have a quite few hairy moments, but their instruction was constructive and concise and by the end of the day my riding and confidence was much improved (I guess that's why they are instructors though eh?). I do have to say the biggest thank you to Peter, who, poor bloke, obviously drew the short straw to look after me. I really didn't expect the level of attention he gave me all day (that somehow sounds wrong, but you know what I mean). From the instruction he gave me on the track, to taking me to different part of the track to watch the BSB blokes, to letting me dump my stuff in in his van...and letting me ride on his bike (pushbike that is!!!), he was just a really lovely, lovely, genuine bloke. I would recommend Focused Events track days to anyone, especially people in the same situation as me, who are new to track and maybe want some instruction (and have no mates), and I wouldn't hesitate to attend another track day now that I know what goes on. Not only that, I had put in a request for 2 things. That the weather be nice, and it was a glorious day, and that you allocate a nice instructor, who was preferably good looking...and they were both gorgeous!!!! What other company could comply like that? Please pass this feedback on to the people who....err...collect the feedback, and thank-you again. You have a brilliant team there..... James Clark - Sheffield Trackday for a pound Hello, I just thought I would get in touch to thank the Focused Events team for a fantastic day on Tuesday at Silverstone. I was lucky enough to have got the day day for £1 which made the day even better! The great thing is that I live quite a distance from Silverstone and it isnt a circuit that I would have ever tried if it wasnt for the price and now I think it will be one that I will do again. I usually stick to Cadwell and sometimes Mallory. The day was well organised and being from dawn-till-dusk we got loads of track time. The whole week has been so amazing, every need catered for from me being a total beginner - to expert tuition for Shane with Simon Crafar & Niall Mckenzie. Steve Fry - Southampton My first track day I would like to say a big thank you to Focused Events for what turned out to be the best fun I have ever had on 2 wheels! I hired a personal instuctor for the whole day on a 1-1 basis and it was money well spent. By the end of the morning I was riding my 98 R1 a lot faster and a hell of a lot smoother. I cannot explain the buzz you get when you take the correct lines and ride at speeds I did not think I could do on the circuit. I hope to move up to intermediate level on my next outing! Thats how much benefit I got from the instruction!!!



Gary Feedback From Oulton Park 26/01/2008 Cheers guys, was with you at Oulton on Saturday for my first track day after being away from racing for over 20 years. Absolutely loved it. Now I have the dilema of do I race again or just stick to track days. It was a superb day, very smoothly run despite the first 3 Novice sessions being cut short, and what great weather for the time of year (though the gusts coming over Hilltop were entertaining as the front end went light). Not sure I should have used the 2007 BSB highlights DVD as a track refresher though, as I took the Johnny Rae line through Druids and ran along the rumblestrip on the exit which got the heart racing. So thanks for a superb day. Will definitely be with you a lot through the year. Intermediates next time though. Wasn't quite as rusty as I thought I would be. Yvonne Sanders - Lincoln Chequered Flag Day Mallory 25/8/07 WOW!!! Being an old bint who's only been riding a bike for 6 months (over statement as due to a blown up engine & a broken collar bone have only had about 3 weeks worth of riding) so confidence was at an all time low, i came away from the day feeling like i'd been riding for 6 years & with the knowlege it would have taken me a lifetime to learn without Focused Events, WOODY & jOHN's help. The biggest THANK YOU ever to Woody (Mark) my instructor who left no stone unturned & was able to expain everthing in easy understandable terms,(no easy feat by any means me being a bit thick on the technical jargon) & to John whose help was also invaluable. Lawrence Ridd - Southampton Cadwell Park August 7th - 8th 2007 I just wanted to drop you guys a message to say how much I enjoyed my first 2 trackdays. The organisation was superb and all of the staff were more than willing to help out. We had plenty of track time and the groups were well balanced. We had come up from Southampton so we decided to stay the night and do another trackday on the following day. The camping was fine and the onsite facilities were good. Nothing like a good bacon roll first thing in the morning to get you going. I was even more chuffed with the fact I got my knee down on the last session of the first day. I was too rigid on the bike but with a few helpful words from the instructors to help my body positioning I was wearing away my knee slider all day long on the second day. The photographers were really good and I can't stop looking at the snaps and asking myself why I hadn't done it before. If you havent done a trackday before and your thinking about it I'll tell you thing - GET OUT THERE AND DO IT. YOU WONT REGRET IT. Finally just a big thank you to all the staff at Cadwell Park and Focused Events for making such an awesome couple of days possible. No doubt I'll be back very soon.

Lindsay Duncan Cadwell Track Day 4th July Hi to you all, Just wanted to write a little note to thank you all for helping me loose my track day virginity. At the ripe old age of 47 & having ridden bikes since the age of 16, I have to admit, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had on a bike. Circuit, great. Weather, great, photos,great. value for money, great. (only down side, paid a fiver for a vest & never got given one!). I am going to bust my what's-it's to get to another before the year is out.I would really like to do a day at Donnington along with some friends, but must speak to bank manager first. As virgins we were treated with care and attention from our instructor Neemo and Mr Focused Events, Kevin. Thanks Kevin for tweaking our bikes and the personal words of advice and encouragement throughout the day. A truely memorable day. Word of advice for any others considering the experience but like me were apprehensive; don't be - you'll be properly and safely looked after. Louise Polley Loire experiences Hi Guys Just to say another huge thank you for an extremely well organised weekend of Loire experiences. As always, there is no real concept of the hard work and pre planning that goes into co-ordinating such events, not helped by the fact it was A) on the open road B) in France and C) involved 18 bikers (not forgetting the two lovely pillions!) …but it was obvious to us all that you and your team had gone to a lot of effort. Memories of the weekend too many to mention here, but I have some photos and video footage to send you shortly if you can use them please feel free to do so! Most importantly can we thank you again your attention to detail and safety, as always top of your agenda, which was certainly proven for the two of us with your offer to transport us home after Gary’s back tyre began to disintegrate luckily not long before our arrival back into Calais…! We would like to send our thanks again to you and would appreciate if you could pass it on to the guys in the van also. In summary …A safe and enjoyable weekend, we look forward to the next one!! Andrea and Mark Loire Valley Experience Thanks for organising a great weekend on the "Focused Events Loire Valley Experience" We had a lovely time, it's completely changed our view of the French people and France, I'm already planning a return journey withing the next few weeks to soak up some more countryside.
