The driving force behind the business. He started racing in 1989 and in his first year won 4 championships, was 2nd in a 5th and was KRC marshals rider of the year, and won a number of high level club trophies with numerous lap records at club level. In his second year he finished 2nd in the champion of brands and grand slam series and was then an architect with John Ward in the setting up of the UK Riders Championship. He himself went on to race 600 supersport and 750 in the UK Supercup series (yesterdays BSB) and European 750 series. He retired from racing in 1994 although still has a full ACU national licience and occasionally ventures back for a one off..the last time being a round at Brands of the 1200 Bandit series, where despite not having raced for 5 years he won the race and set the fastest lap. He uses the expertise that he has gained over the years to ensure that the customer first and foremost has a safe day and secondly gets as much track time as possible,and this has made Focused Events a premier track day company. Soon after retirement he sort a new challenge and ventured into the off-road world finding a new and highly enjoyable pastime ranging from green laning to long distance trials and the occasional grueling enduro.

Phil is our general manager and works hard to make sure all the behind the scenes action is happening. Working closely with Kev, Simon and Mark to make sure the whole system is smooth and silky.

 

Mark & Si will greet you with a cheery smile and help you through your day. Running the events, these are the guys on the front line.
